Wind and weather
I have to admit, I’m a sun lover – I struggle with the grey and damp that seems to be a regular feature in the UK. Then all of a sudden a beautiful clear sunny day pops up and everything looks right with the world. In constrast, days in South Africa and elsewhere on the continent where I’ve spent a fair bit of time, while I’m soaking up the warmth, the more permanent locals tend to react to a rainy day in the way I do on a sunny day in the UK. The wind, though, can be rather frightening but it can also be rather refreshing, although in my experience the last is more scarce than the former. For some of our TSL authors, the colder weather is a boon – it allows for sport and gatherings of different kinds.
In this collection of books, the wind or weather conditions feature quite prominintly…
