  1. Robbie Cheadle

If you have ever read the Sir Chocolate books, you will fall in love with this book! My kids absolutely adored this book and their favorite character was definitely Skelly the Skeleton. I, as a mom, could however relate so well with Witch Honey and getting ready for a holiday. The pictures in this book are so creative and cute! The story is great and it is so exciting to meet all the different characters and to eagerly find out what happens next. Oh how my kids and I wished that we were also on Holiday with Witch Honey and her family and to be at the Halloween Party. My kids and I enjoyed this book so much and would definitely recommend it! A very fun and captivating book, perfect for a bedtime story!

Haunted Halloween Holiday, an adorable and insightful children’s book written by Robbie and Michael Cheadle, is their latest delectable creation to offer recipes, colorful tales, and a crafty imaginary setting that’s been delighting readers for years. The imagination of this mother-son duo continues to impress me, offering a simple yet versatile group of fairytale-esque characters who live in a world of chocolate and fondant. It’s truly quite hard to read without getting hungry, especially if you have a sweet tooth like I do. When you throw in a Halloween setting, I’m all aboard, and this one was my favorite thus far. Awesome job!

Another wonderful installment of Robbie Cheadle’s children’s book series. This time, it’s autumn for her sugarland family! The sinister season is not complete without a Haunted Halloween Holiday.

In this story, everyone in the community works together for a common goal: well, a party of course! Join in with her culinary characters as they win over your heart, and appetite, with their rhymes and times. Because people who play together stay friends forever!

If you like family friendly content, then her children’s series is for you. It is a family affair as Robbie and her son, Michael, write these fantastical stories for other children to enjoy.

Haunted Halloween Holiday is a ‘just a little scary but lots and lots of fun’ kind of story. Fans of the Sir Chocolate books by Robbie and Michael Cheadle will not be disappointed as the mother and son duo write and bake their way into reader’s hearts with this delightfully delicious story. Stuffed full of delectable fondant illustrations, highlighted with lovely rhyming verse to tell the story of an unique holiday celebration.

This book is a bit longer than previous Sir Chocolate formats, and contains less verse, but it’s a delightfully fun adventure to please readers both young and old. Who could resist all the colorful characters who attend this festive holiday party? Count Sugular; Baby Howler; Skelly the Skeleton; Teddy the posessed teddy bear; the Trolls – Tar and Liquorice; Toot, the clown who smiles upside; Witch Goody; and Jack Frost all help to make this Halloween celebration one to be remebered, and enjoyed over and over, every time you pick up the book.

I give Haunted Halloween Holiday five quills.
