Words in stories
I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but TSL has been posting books and stories which mention specific words. Why? I might hear you ask. The answer, multiple reasons. The final prompt to go with the idea though was to do ‘something different’ around the world of books. As I regularly end up trying to wrack my brains for where I saw something mentioned and as certain images stuck in my mind about a specifc book or story, it made sense to capture it all in a post about the image. Mostly, and not surprisingly, the books featured are those published by TSL. However, where possible, and time permitting, I’ll go on the search for out of the ordinary books – to expand my own literary repertoir but also to help support other authors. I don’t know how successful this approach is as a marketing strategy, but at least I know I’ve got a record of where I’ve seen terms and future books to read. Even if you’ve visited a link before, it would be worth revisiting it as I add new links when I find them.
It is remarkable how you start to spot these terms or words when you’ve decided to look for them. SimplisticInsights discusses this very thing in That famous saying Seeing is believing. What if I say Believing is seeing?
Thanks Pablo for the image
