Malcolm has played golf or, rather, at golf for nearly 60 years, a lot of it abroad when he served in the army and on many of the great and not so great courses throughout Great Britain. He is member of the lovely Hertfordshire course, Ashridge, and he lives in Berkhamsted with his wife Jill. Neither she nor their daughters play golf. We wonder why!

About Musings of an Inadequate Golfer
Malcolm Allen is a keen golfer who achieved a reasonable handicap when younger but the inexorable march of time has seen a steady decline since. What has not fallen by the wayside is his love of this wonderful game and all that goes with it. In eighteen chapters of anecdotes, stories, reflections and comment the author brings the fun, frustration and absurdity of the game to life.
