I’m about 70 pages into the book and already see that I have been laboring under a few misconceptions. For example, until now my understanding was that the British Admiralty hadn’t even considered the Lake Tanganyika issue until John Lee brought his proposal to them in April 1915, but it appears that the Belgians had been requesting British support for that area for several months prior, so here again, Thank You.
I am truly enjoying the read and am already looking forward to Volumes 2 & 3. Can’t wait!!!
