Books which stay with you
The other day I decided to recall some of the books which have stayed with me as a reader – an author’s relationship with the books they write is completely different and as a publisher, somewhere between the two – when the following tweet popped into my nest:

I haven’t read this book but it matched so closely with what I was recalling that I thought I’d share it with you.
My list includes:
Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
The Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew
Hitchiker’s Guide to the Galaxy – Douglas Adams
Cry the Beloved Country – Alan Paton
My Traitor’s Heart – Rian Malan
Chris Hani: the sun that set before dawn – Thami Mali
Terry Pratchet’s Carpet People series
God dies by the Nile – Nawal el Saadawi
and more recently The Good Vicar – RJ Whitfield.
